- Abstract
The article focuses on the traditional history of the Plantation of Ulster in Ulster, Ireland and the influence of Scottish migration in the Plantation of Ulster. It re-examines the historiography of the Plantation of Ulster to understand its scale and success, highlighting the Scottish involvement in the project, which outnumbered their English counterparts in the 17th century. It says that Scots played a significant role in settling Ulster and promotion of Presbyterian religion in Ireland.
