- Abstract
The article reports on the activation of peroxisome proliferator–activated receptors (PPARs) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved drug bexarotene promoting neuroprotective in cellular models of Huntington's disease (HD), a progressive neurodegenerative disorder. Mitochondrial and protein quality control in cellular models of HD was examined.
