- Abstract
This paper presents the results of the initial part of a research of master's degree in Science Education, entitled "Interdisciplinary approach from the Energy Theme: contributions to a meaningful learning in adult education." The first instrument of investigation traced a profile socio-educational of students a state school in Santa Maria - RS to perform a didactic intervention appropriate to this audience. Furthermore, we investigated the interests of students about the concept Energy, structuring theme in science teaching (Biology, Physics and Chemistry). The Human Body and Sustainability categories showed the greatest relevance. About the motivation, was asked who discipline the students more like and feel interested. The discipline of physics is has the lowest percentage of interest. Data from this study were used in the construction of a teaching module, with the most relevant topics for students in which the teacher has an attitude interdisciplinary, using the various branches of knowledge to better teaching the concept.
