The article focuses on whether it's unconstitutional to force employees to make contribution to funds to support the political speech of the union made on behalf of employees. Topics discussed include the U.S. Supreme Court cases Knox v. Service Employees International Union, Local 1000, and Harris v. Quinn. The First Amendment related to associational speech, and the right to work legislation are also discussed.
