- Abstract
An essay is presented on conducting a type of Native Pacific studies that focus on cultural survival and vernacular progress based on U.S. educational institution's resistance of a campaign to boycott Israeli universities. The American academy reportedly aims to uphold solidarity with Palestine and academic freedom. Also discussed are Steven Salaita's appointment as chairman of American Indian Studies at the University of Illinois and impact of colonization on indigenous peoples.
