- Abstract
A biography of American magazine publisher Condé Montrose Nast is presented. He was born in New York City on March 26, 1873 and enrolled at the Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He returned to the city when Robert Collier, son of the owner of the magazine "Collier's Weekly," asked him to help his struggling business. Later, Nast went on to purchase the notable publications "Vogue," "Vanity Fair" and "House & Garden" and began the company Condé Nast Publications (CNP).
