- Abstract
There is an obligation to develop new techniques in order to survive in competitive environments. Nowadays, it is possible for organizations to continue their activities and to reach high quality standards by developing quality-oriented management systems. As in other institutions, the most important factor affecting the level of success in universities is manpower. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the satisfaction of the employees first. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of Total Quality Management Practices on academicians' job satisfaction and intention to quit and to take necessary measures according to the results. The research was conducted on 572 people by using questionnaire method. In addition, in the analysis of the data obtained in the research; arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution and regression analysis were used. SPSS 23 statistical package program was used for analysis.
