- Abstract
The article summarizes the history of peace processes in Colombia from 1982 to 2022, highlighting the financial support of the Plan Colombia and the consolidation of paramilitarism in the country. It mentions the peace process with the paramilitaries and the Law of Justice and Peace. Then it analyzes the management of Juan Manuel Santos, characterized by a presidential election under the policy of democratic security and a military weakening of the guerrillas. The presidency of Iván Duque is also mentioned, characterized as "betrayed peace". Finally, the proposal for negotiation by the government of Gustavo Petro is commented on, and the importance of including the voices of the victims of the armed conflict in the search for peace in Colombia is emphasized.
