- Abstract
The article discusses postmodern views of poetry by Sylvia Plath that was inspired by the Holocaust. The author notes the initial negative reception of Plath's Holocaust poems such as "Lady Lazarus" and "Daddy" and speculation that Plath had intended the poems as autobiographical. He discusses literary allusions in "Lady Lazarus" and German stereotyping in "Daddy."
