- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the occurrence of anisakid nematodes in Gadus morhua and Gadus ogac, commonly known as Atlantic cod and Greenland cod, respectively, that are found in West Greenland. Such nematodes are known to infect gadids and have an importance to the fishing industry as far as economic and aesthetic aspects are concerned. Differences in gender of the Atlantic cod were not found when the condition factor, the intensity of infected individuals, and the prevalence of anisakid nematodes were studied.
