- Abstract
The article focuses on the rise in rates of sexual violence suffered by Indian women in the U.S. and the passage of the U.S. Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA). Topics discussed include concealed carry as a solution to protect Indian women, tribes are currently exercising VAWA jurisdiction, and no due process issues have been reported and lack of law enforcement resources devoted to Indian country.
