- Abstract
The article evaluates whether Craigslist Inc., an online classified advertisements publisher, is liable to allege copyright infringement claims against 3taps, a data exchange website, for providing access to advertisements on its website. It discusses laws regarding copyright matter, copyright authors, and copyright protection exception. It concludes that despite advertisements are copyrightable however Craigslist is unable to assert claims as it is not the author of those advertisements.
