- Abstract
The article discusses the discovery of the world's third largest molybdenum deposit in the Caosiyao area of Xinghe County, Inner Montolia, Northeast China. The deposit is of a porphyry-type, super-large scale and exploration type is I. It cites the deposit's characterization such as its occurrence in the leucoleptite of the 3rd lithological member in the Archean Huangruyao Fm and the delineation of 4 molybdenum orebodies i.e. No. Mo1, lower Mo2, lower Mo3 and lower Mo4.
