- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 52-year-old woman diagnosed with gastric ulcer due to celiac disease (CD), characterized by mucosal inflammation of the proximal small bowel. The patient underwent endoscopy, colonoscopy and a pathological examination. The endoscopy showed that she had submucosal hemorrhage, while the colonoscopy found that she had mucosal hyperemia, edema and common ulcerations in the terminal ileum.
