The article focuses author's usage of images in student learning. It is said that formative assessment offers data to teachers as feedbacks to change teaching and learning strategies, plus formative assessment is intended to be a lifetime process. The author suggests visual formative assessments (VFA) which can improve and establish essential learnings for the students and beneficial to teachers. The author cites that VFA can be as formative assessment method frequently to students who find the texts very confusing.
