- Abstract
The article discusses a rare type of tumor called onycholemmal horn (OH) that occurs under the nails. OH is characterized by an asymptomatic, keratotic, exophytic, slow-growing subungual tumor accompanied by areas of partial anonychia and dystrophy of the nail plate. The article presents two case reports of OH and provides insights into its epidemiological, clinical, and histopathological characteristics. Surgical excision is the primary treatment option, and no recurrences have been reported in the two known cases. However, further research is needed to confirm these observations.
