- Abstract
A planning methodology new ambulatory care programs is described consisting of an attitude survey measuring intent to use the new program and a computerized financial planning model which forecasts the first year's cash for the program. The methodology is applied to a program offered by Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan,, to elderly residents of congregate living sites. The methodology demonstrates how to integrate approaches to ambulatory care planning found in the marketing research and operations research literature.
