- Title
A SIMPLE SPECTRO-COLORIMETER.
- Authors
Holden, Henry Francis
- Abstract
The article describes the spectro-colorimeter, an instrument used for the rapid optical estimation of substances whose solutions show well-defined absorption bands in the visible region of the spectrum. The instrument may also be used for the estimation of the concentration of globin in a solution by titration with hematin. The spectro-colorimeter also has been employed for the comparison of the intensities of the absorption bands of the spectra of hemochromogens.
