- Abstract
The article presents a study of the epidemiology of proximal humerus fractures (PHF) among patients admitted to the accident and emergency (A&E) department of the Vigo University Hospital Complex in Spain from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018. Topics discussed include the use of the imaging-test protocol for shoulder injuries in patients with suspected PHF, emergence of low-energy trauma as the most common among the cases, and increase in fractures during the autumn season.
