- Abstract
The article provides a summary of the hawaiian monk seal diet. The author identifies the component of the Hawaiian monk seal diet based on the samples collected in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands and supposes that such animal primarily get foods on shallow, coral reefs. As indicated in the higher resolution analysis, the conger eel, also known as Ariosoma marginatum, dominates the Hawaiian monk seal diet.
