- Abstract
The article explores public and private interests in beaches and shores and how the intricacies of coastal boundaries contribute to controversies about the use of beaches. It tackles the Florida beach management and restoration legislation and the challenges confronting the state's beach management. It stresses the significance of beach restoration and management policies and the need for local governments to accept responsibility for regulating and managing the use of beaches.
