- Abstract
It can be seen that Turkey is an importer country by a short review to consuming of primary energy resources. Because of poorness of local resources, the %72 of energy supply had imported in 2011. The %98 of natural gas supply, the %91 of petrol and %90 of anthracite had been imported. The %58 of natural gas had imported from Russia, %19 from Iran and %9 from Azerbaijan. Beside Turkey had imported liquified natural gas from Algeria and Nigeria by the percentages of 9 and 5. In 2010 the total consuming of primary energy resources of Turkey was 109 MTEP (29,257 MTEP was local production, an the 85,357 MTEP was imported). Approximetly the 3/4 of our energy consumption had imported. Turkey should reclaim its resources productively and efficently rapidly. Also in 2011 the total established capacity of electric energy was 52,911.1 MW and generated electric energy was 229,395.1 GWh. The hidrolic capacity, fossil resources and renewable energy resources must enable rapidly and nuclear power plants have to be establish to counterpose the 2020 forecast of electric energy, which is almost 400,000 billion kWh. In this article the reserve and variety of primary energy resources and enviromental driver of generating energy will discussed.
