This article investigates the concepts of person and relation in Augustine's De Trinitate. This aim is pursued by starting from the relationship between unity and Trinity in God, at economic and immanent levels. Then, the analysis is focused on the category of relation as the main concept to express distinction in God; finally, Augustine's notion of person and its use in a trinitarian context is evaluated.
