- Abstract
This paper aims to describe and analyze the initiative of the 1st Hacka LIODS/CNJ proposed by the Innovation, Intelligence and ODS Laboratory (LIODS), held on May 28, 29 and 30, 2021 (LIODS/CNJ, 2021). The following methodologies were adopted: qualitative, of applied nature, with descriptive objective, and bibliographic and documentary procedures. Qualitative because the concern is not centered on the number of events described, but on the understanding and on the impact of the experiences discussed. Applied research because its objective is the practical application aimed at solving specific problems represented by the challenges proposed in the 1st Hacka LIODS/CNJ. Descriptive because the study describes the initiatives of the Innovation, Intelligence and ODS Laboratory (LIODS) and their results. Finally, the research is bibliographical and documentary in view of the use of books and articles by experts in the field of technologies and artificial intelligence and materials produced by the National Council of Justice and the Permanent Commission for Monitoring the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. The work was structured in: a brief presentation of LIODS; considerations on Artificial Intelligence (AI); and the experience of the 1st Hacka LIODS/CNJ, followed by the conclusions and references. Subsequently, information and communication technologies permeate human life and, consequently, global efforts in favor of sustainable development. For this reason, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development expresses that all the goals established therein affected by the use of technology, which reiterated by the United Nations in a document called Digital Interdependence Era in 2019. In this panorama, artificial intelligences are present in the most diverse aspects of life in the so-called network society, with the law not being an exception. In the analyzed study, the following initiatives are represented by: 1st national inter-institutional panel of open data on Covid-19, SireneJud, and 1st Hacka LIODS/CNJ. The 1st Hacka LIODS/CNJ, 1st Hackaton of the Innovation, Intelligence and Sustainable Development Goals Laboratory of the National Council of Justice brought three challenges to its participants with a focus on Sustainable Development Goals n. 13 - actions against global climate change - and n. 15 - terrestrial life. Of the proposed challenges, n. 1 (How to improve the communication channel between society and the Judiciary - judicial or extrajudicial - received three responses. The challenger n. 2 propose: "How the Judiciary Branch should make its data available in a structured or unstructured way for the development of technological solutions capable of showing whether the public land where the fire, deforestation, degradation, mining, existence of cattle, plantations, child labor and work similar to slavery has a process number and which number has occurred" obtained two solutions. Moreover, the challenge n. 3 worried about "How can we create a single public system (SireneExtrajud) for consulting the entire content of the registration in the property registry and respective public land registrations identified in SireneJud", has not received any proposal for a solution. Which allows us to identify that there is a great deal of space to increase the use of technologies in the systematization of data and in the functioning of the Brazilian Judiciary.
