HOBEROCK, MEREDITH
- Abstract
The article assesses the law of standing in Arkansas in relation to the Chubb Lloyds Insurance Co. v. Miller County Circuit Court case. The necessity for Arkansas law practitioners to consider the differences between federal standing principles and Arkansas standing principles is stressed. According to the state Supreme Court, standing is not a component of subject-matter jurisdiction. It mentions the existence of valid caselaw in which standing is interwoven with jurisdiction after the case.
