Seeking a Better Way to Die with and from Dementia.
- Authors
Kuhn, Daniel
- Abstract
A large and growing number of people die with and from dementia, but their care at the end of life is often suboptimal. This article recommends a palliative approach to the care of people with dementia and their families to counter the negative outcomes associated with aggressive medicine and to improve the experience of dying for all concerned.
