- Abstract
The article discusses the triumph of the Israelites over the Canaanite commander Sisera through the help of Deborah. Accordingly, the death of Joshua brought Israelites in a difficult situation because they were being oppressed by King Jabin of Canaan. It states that Israelites asked God's help and they were sent a savior, the fourth judge named Deborah. Accordingly, two accounts had been recorded regarding the crucial role of Deborah in the victories of Israelites against the Canaanites.
