- Abstract
The article discusses the criminal justice systems in Australia and the U.S. The National Human Rights Consultation Committee has examined prosecutorial discretion, double jeopardy, sentencing and alternatives to incarceration as punishment to deliver a report which considered by governments based on rights-oriented culture and official-centric culture. It is believed that the American government has greater possibility of perceived pathological and dangerous criminality compared to Australia.
