- Abstract
The article discusses the private search doctrine in jurisprudence related to the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which deals with the use of evidence obtained by a private party. U.S. Supreme court cases addressed include Olmstead v. United States, Katz v. United States, and United States v. Jacobsen. The U.S. federal court case United States v. Lichtenberger is noted.
