The article discusses the uses of adverbial clauses with the subordinating conjunction "kato" in Bulgarian languages. It explores the three features which are associated with the Bulgarian phrases and the symbols in the recognition of the phrases through the presence of the terminal suffix. It also notes on the association of the term "kato" with the temporal modification of the higher clause which conveys a temporary information.
