- Abstract
The article reports on how Antigua and Barbuda eliminates invasive alien mammals like Eurasian black rat Rattus rattus and Asian mongoose Herpestes javanicus. Topics include the effect of the invasive species to the native species in the area such as Antiguan burrowing owl Athene cunicularia amaura, Megalomys audreyae, and Lesser Antillean iguana Iguana delicatissima, the effort of the Fauna &Flora International (FFI) to eradicate the said species, and the recovery of the native species.
