- Abstract
The article examines the impact of the Virginia Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Program's (BIP) limited no-fault torn reform on physicians' cesarean rates. It provides results of a regression analysis comparing the caesarian rates of BIP participating and non-participating physicians. Moreover, it identifies alternative means of influencing physician decision-making to reduce the costs of health care.
