- Abstract
The article discusses a research study on the technical-tactical parameters and physiological response in the Braziian competition of jiu-jitsu. Subjects include 35 Brazilian male jiu-jitsu athletes and 22 of their fights were analyzed as to time structure and techniques then measured were their lactate, blood glucose and strength of their maximal isometric grip. Results showed the moderate activation of glycolytic pathway of athletes during Brazilian jiu-jitsu fights.
