- Abstract
A complex Sm(SSA)(H2Q)2 • H2O has been synthesized from hydrothermal reaction and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, studied by element analysis, infrared spectrum and thermogravimetric analysis. The optical properties of the compound is studied by using UV-spectrum and fluorescent analysis. The result shows that the crystal structure belongs to Monoclinic, space group P2 (1)/n with a=0. 888 44(16)nm,b0. 892 54(16)nm,c=1. 436 6(3)nm,α=90.00°,β100. 810(2)°,γ=90. 00°,Z=4,V= 1. 1190(3)nm3 (CCDC No. :875346). The samarium(III) ion is eight-coordinated by eight oxygen atoms formed a four party reverse prismoid geometric configuration.
