- Abstract
The article discusses the European Court of Human Rights' decision in case SAS v. France. Topics discussed include claims relating to violation of Articles 3, 8 and 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) alleged by SAS, a 24 year old French Muslim citizen who wished to wear burqa in public, issues relating to criminalization of the burqa and prohibition imposed by the French government on the use of burqa in public places in France.
