- Abstract
The article offers information on the enactment of rules by the international criminal tribunals such as the chambers of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) to sanction the lawyers' for filing abusive or frivolous motions. Topics discussed include the application of the principle of res judicata, motions for lack of diligence or professionalism, and the lawyer's sanctions for abuse of process.
