- Authors
FULLER, CRAIG
- Abstract
The article looks at the creation of Duchesne County, Utah, focusing on difficulties related to receiving a seat in the Utah state government. Reasons for the residents of Uinta County, Utah, to establish their own county are reviewed. Prior to the formation of Duchesne County, Wasatch County was comprised of both Uintah and Duchesne County. State laws on the establishment of high school districts in Utah are discussed, noting that Duchesne County did not initially meet the minimum population requirements to have its own school district.
