- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 63-year old woman admitted to the emergency department because of severe generalized abdominal pain. After a computed tomography (CT) scan, a 14-centimeter mass was detected at the left side of her kidney consistent with bleeding because of the manifestation of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). She underwent resuscitation, embolization and nephrectomy at the Intensive Care Unit.
