Once a Dancer, You're a Dancer for Life.
- Authors
KlLLACKY ., JOHN R.
- Abstract
The article discusses the long-term benefits of studying dance. The author reports that although he was not physically suited for the art form, it taught him several valuable things which he has used in his professional life in the financial sector, such as non-linear thinking, self-confidence and cultural literacy. More importantly, dance proved to be a far more effective method of rehabilitation than traditional physical therapy when the author was recovering from spinal surgery, which had temporarily paralyzed him.
