- Abstract
The article presents a study to assess the risks of emerald ash borer to communities in North America by monitoring the street trees. It mentions that the stressors have the potential to alter the forest landscape. The South Dakota Division of Resource and Conversation and Forestry have categorized the communities based on the percentage of street tree population. Majority of the communities are in the low stability category due to the dominance of green ash in the street tree populations.
