- Abstract
The article analyzes regulatory design strategies and enforcement approaches in Australia and Great Britain concerning research on human embryos and cloning. The Prohibition of Human Cloning for Reproduction and the Regulation of Human Embryo Research Amendment Act 2006 (Cth) was given Royal Assent on December 12, 2006 in Britain. Australia adopted a similar regulatory system in 2002 for research involving human embryos and cloning.
