- Abstract
The article presents a cohort analysis of the effect of naturalistic use of benzodiazepines on mortality in chronic heart failure outpatients. It discusses the method used in the study, noting the use of Cox proportional hazard model to assess the relationship between benzodiazepines and mortality. The link of benzodiazepines with a reduction of mortality rates in heart failure patients is suggested.
