- Abstract
The article focuses on a study revealing the use of specific micro RNA (miRNA) by modulating the endogenous miRNA pathway in treatment of serious neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases such as spinal and bulbar muscular atrophy (SBMA). The research took SBMA transgenic mice as a research material which saw five miRNA upregulated in the spinal cord of the same. The study targets an organism's natural miRNA system to downregulate a disease-linked transcript.
