The article focuses on the case of Pro-Football, Inc. v. Harjo. It highlighting the district court's reversal of a Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) decision that had cancelled the trademarks for the Washington Redskins football team on the grounds of being disparaging to Native Americans; the defense of laches, where the court found a substantial and unexcused delay in bringing the suit to cancel the trademarks; and district court ruled in favor of Pro-Football, Inc.
