- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses how she became an international recording artist, dancer, poet, composer, producer and photographer despite her inborn congenital bilateral hip dislocation disability. She claims that her family immigrated from Chile to the U.S. to cure her disability. As a teenager, she studied with Jean-Pierre Rampal and at the Juilliard School in New York. She performed in various countries, including Singapore, Turkey and Greenland.
