The article focuses on the American Hospital Association's (AHA) identification of three primary factors contributing to suicide risk in healthcare workers. It discusses stigma surrounding mental health discussions, lack of access to mental health resources & job-related stress. Topics include mitigation measures recommended by the AHA; high-priority interventions; and importance of conducting a baseline review of current mental health & suicide prevention resources in healthcare organizations.
