The article presents a 2018 case study of a 4-week-old boy with a small pit on the medial canthus of the left eye that constantly drains tears onto his face's left side. Diagnosis indicated congenital lacrimal fistula which is a supernumerary lacrimal canaliculi connecting skin to common canaliculus or lacrimal sac. Also noted are the mostly asymptomatic character of the condition, and the patient's conservative management for epiphora and scheduled evaluation.
