- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a 52-year-old man with lesions and inflammation of his left arm which developed after his index finger was lacerated while cleaning a fish tank. The patient's physical condition is discussed whose skin biopsy revealed dermal granulomatous inflammation with multinucleate giant cells, histiocytes, plasma cells, and lymphocytes. The patient was diagnosed with mycobacterium marinum infection with sporotrichoid spread.
