- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the effect of ethanol extract from Dalbergia odorifera (EEDO) T. Chen (Leguminosae) in protecting skin keratinocytes against ultraviolet B-induced (UVB) photoaging through reactive oxygen species (ROS) suppression. The study is investigated by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Western blot analysis, and Student's t-test. Results show that EEDO inhibits premature senescence of human keratinocytes and skin cells that are exposed to UVB.
