The article focuses on a study that discusses effect of steam explosion pretreatment on sugar Production by Enzymatic Hydrolysis. Topics discussed include effect of pretreatment on sugar under different temperature, structural properties of reed straw grass to analyze increased sugar yield and use of Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometry (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to investigate steam explosion-induced changes.
